Ever had one of those days when nothing seems to go right? I had one of those today at work (in Sainsbury's in the bakery).Hearing United lost 4-1 was bad enough, but at least there we're still potentially 7 points clear, and we have a tradition of going on a long, long run after a bad game so I wasn't too down.
I also saw someone I used to know, an old friend of mine, although me and my other friends stopped taking to him nearly two years ago now as he became something of a psychopath, I just walked past him with my cap covering my face so he couldn't see me! It was strange, I was glad to see him again because of the times when we were good friends, but also worrying because of future experiences of his personallity, and I don't want him back in my life again. That may sound harsh, but if you were me you'd understand.
I'm planning to go on holiday this July with some mates of mine, and I thought all the holiday arrangements at work was all sorted out, the forms had been handed in. Turned out someone booked that week too, and just so happened to be working the day the forms came out so was able to get his in straight away. I booked the following week, in the hope that the holiday can be rearranged for then, but if it cannot, then I guess I'll have no choice but to throw a sickie!
